Graphic Designer, London

Nico Nico
The word Niconico is a Japanese term meaning to laugh or smile. It comes from the onomatopoeia of “niconico” which means to smile in Japanese. This is my basis as a designer to bring smiles from my designs.

My drive is delivering authentic stories, that are strengthened by purpose and insights for brands on a social level. Born and raised in leafy green Surrey and being a blend of Malaysian and Hong Kong Chinese, I find myself delving into Chinese traditions that are not as prominent here in the UK. I love sharing my old and new views of Chinese culture through my illustrations @niconico_everyday. I take inspiration from nostalgia, emotive connections and everyday observations. I can confess my life is centred around design and food and my downtime is hopping from galleries to the next foodie hotspot.
